A systematic review of 1264 participants found that the icepack test had a sensitivity of 73%-100% and a specificity of over 95% in evaluation of possible MG with ocular features.  Read Article

A team including NANOS members Warren Felton III and Scott Haines found no intracranial structural differences in IIH patients with and without pulsatile tinnitus. They suggest that pulsatile tinnitus may arise from systemic and not local factors such as transverse sinus stenosis or arachnoid granulations. – Read Article

The effect of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist exenatide on IIH was confirmed by a randomized clinical trial in the UK. At 12 weeks, the intracranial pressure was lowered by 5.6 ± 3.0 cmCSF.  – Read Article

A retrospective study was conducted in Atlanta and New York to evaluate the race distribution in NAION.  The results showed that 80-90% of NAION patients are White, followed by Black and Asian. – Read Article
