NANOS recognizes our members for their major awards, honors, and/or achievements in the field of Neuro-Ophthalmology through the 'NANOS Member Recognition' program.

2019 NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGY LEADERSHIP TRAINING AWARD
NANOS recognizes the need to stimulate leadership development in diverse members of its community. The NANOS Women in Neuro-ophthalmology Leadership Training Award provides a one-time, non-renewable source of funding to support leadership development for a NANOS member. This program is open for all Active and Fellow members of NANOS.

NANOS PILOT GRANT RESEARCH PROGRAM
NANOS recognizes the need to stimulate investigator-initiated research programs in Neuro-Ophthalmology. The NANOS Pilot Research Grant Program provides a one-year, non-renewable source of funding to help principal investigators generate preliminary data that will lead to additional funding from other national agencies or foundations. Priority is given towards research that will provide preliminary data for future substantial grant applications. All Active/International Active and Fellow/International Fellow members of NANOS are welcome to apply.

NANOS RACE CAR FUNDRAISER UPDATE
Dr. Deborah Friedman graciously offered to give an additional gift of $25 on top of her regular NANOS donation for every woman of NANOS who signs up for a 3-lap experience at the NANOS Fundraiser and purchase a video of the race. A big thank you to Drs. Friedman and Calvert for keeping the race going!

2019 MERIT AWARD UPDATE
We are excited to report that the 2019 Merit Award Recipients have been identified and will be announced at the NANOS 2019 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas. Stay tuned and plan to attend our Annual Banquet on Wednesday, March 20, 2019!

More seats added to the Optional Symposium on March 16th: We’re pleased to share that more seats have been added to the previously sold out Optional Symposium: Orbital and Sellar Lesions-Neuro-radiology Pearls and Pitfalls taking place on March 16th at 3:00 pm. Non-members and institutions must have a subscription to the product through Stat!Ref.
