2022 AAO ADVOCACY AMBASSADOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANT
NANOS was proud to be able to sponsor Mary Labowsky’s participation in the Mid-Year Forum 2022 via the Advocacy Ambassador program as part of NANOS mission and advocacy goals. This year's program had 49 societies - 36 state societies and 13 subspecialty/ specialized interest societies - who sponsored 169 members in training to attend the Mid-Year Forum 2022.

Mary Labowsky, MD

"I highly recommend this experience to all other trainees. I know for me, this has hopefully opened a door for a clear long mission in advocacy."

NANOS EXECUTIVE OFFICE TEAM IS GROWING
We are excited to share with you that Christa Martin recently joined the NANOS Executive Office Team as a NANOS Strategic Partnership & Meetings Specialist. During the mid-cycle review of the NANOS Strategic Plan, it became apparent that NANOS needs to invest in additional infrastructure to better serve our members, support our growing annual meeting, advocacy efforts, and committee initiatives.

Christa will provide additional meeting and member support, act as the point of contact for all sponsorship and exhibitor relations for NANOS, while also working with grants and donations. Christa lives in Jacksonville, FL with her husband, son, and two dogs. She has over 20 years of experience in non-profit management, with a focus on healthcare.
