Everything you need to complete your annual committee report, understand expectations for your role, and access key resources during your term.

1. Committee Report Submission

Report Due Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026
Please submit one report per committee in preparation for the 2026 Arm Officer Meeting.

Step 1: Download Your Committee Report Template

Use the button below to access your personalized report form(s). Each committee has a customized template aligned with the NANOS Strategic Plan and associated committee tasks.

  • Forms are unchanged since December 2024.
  • Reports with multiple tasks now include prioritization indicators.
  • Each committee will see only their assigned tasks and responsibilities.

How to Access Your Files

  1. Click the Access Your Committee Report Templates button above.
  2. Enter your email address when prompted.
  3. Retrieve the Microsoft verification code sent to your email.
  4. Paste the code into the verification box and click Verify.
  5. Your files will appear once verification is complete.

Step 2: Complete Your Committee Report

Open your committee’s report form and follow the instructions on the Instructions tab of the workbook.

  • Only one submission is needed per committee.
  • Chairs, Co-Chairs, and Vice Chairs should coordinate to determine who will submit the final report.
  • For each task, select the appropriate status from the drop-down menu.

Task Status Drop-Down Options

Option Meaning / When to Use
Complete The task has been fully completed.
Discussing/Planning The committee is actively discussing or planning how to address the task.
Moving Ahead Implementation has begun and is in progress.
Waiting for Action The task is on hold or delayed; additional information, approval, or resources are needed. An explanation is required in the Comment field.
Clarification Needed The committee needs more guidance about expectations for this task. An explanation is required in the Comment field.
Tabled The task has been postponed or set aside (provide context where helpful).

Note: If you select Waiting for Action or Clarification Needed, please describe the situation in the Comment field so Arm Chairs and the Executive Committee understand what is needed.

2. Committee Chair Expectations & Reporting Schedule

Committee Chair Terms

  • Committee Chair terms are two (2) years in length.
  • Chairs may serve a maximum of three (3) consecutive 2-year terms, in accordance with the NANOS Bylaws.
  • Committees typically meet virtually or via the NANOS Online Community platform.

Meeting & Communication Expectations

  • Ensure your committee meets as needed to advance assigned tasks.
  • Use the NANOS Online Community platform and designated committee email address for communication.
  • Keep your committee informed about priorities, deadlines, and upcoming reporting expectations.

Reporting Schedule

Committee reports help track progress on strategic goals and inform leadership discussions. Chairs are asked to submit reports three times during their committee term.

  • Report 1 (Year 1): December 31, 2024
    (Before the 2024 face-to-face meeting; Officers meet in late January/early February)
    Status: Complete
  • Report 2 (Year 2): June 30, 2025
    (Before the September 13 Board meeting; Officers meet mid- or late July)
    Status: Complete
  • Report 3 – Final (Year 2): January 15, 2026
    Status: In Progress
