NANOS - North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society Membership Contract
This Membership Contract ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions of membership in the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society ("NANOS"). NANOS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization recognized by the IRS. By applying for and maintaining membership in NANOS, you agree to abide by the following terms:

1. Membership Application and Acceptance

NANOS reserves the right to decline membership applications for any lawful reason, including but not limited to failure to meet membership criteria or application requirements.

NANOS does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, language, religion, sex, age, disability, citizenship, marital status, creed, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, or any basis that would constitute illegal discrimination.
You are obligated to notify NANOS promptly if, at any time, you no longer meet the requirements for your existing membership category or if you require a membership status change

2. Membership Obligations
Upon acceptance of your membership application, you agree to comply with the NANOS Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Anti-Harassment Policy, and NANOS governance principles as specified by the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, and related policies.
Failure to adhere to the codes, guidelines, and policies described in this Agreement may result in disciplinary action, which may include public or private reprimand, suspension, or expulsion from NANOS membership.

3. Governing Law
This application and your membership in NANOS are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, where the offices of NANOS are located.

4. Certification of Information
By submitting your application for NANOS membership, you certify that the information provided in your application is correct to the best of your knowledge.
You understand that any falsification of information may constitute grounds for NANOS to deny your application for membership in NANOS.

By becoming a member of NANOS, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Membership Agreement. NANOS reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement periodically for any updates or changes.
