Please note the following before submitting your NANOS and/or Walsh abstract:
- Please review the abstract submission guidelines listed below in detail prior to submitting your abstract(s).
- All authors that had influence over the content of the abstract must disclose relevant financial interests. When submitting the abstract online, you will be asked to list the names of the authors and the corresponding financial disclosures, if any.
- Awards for the best work by a medical student, resident, and fellow-in-training are available (Review Criteria).
- All abstract presenters must register for the meeting. Meeting registration, travel and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the presenter.
Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by mid-December.
THOMAS AND SUSAN CARLOW YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD

DEADLINE: Applications are due to the NANOS Executive Office by November 30, 2021.
This sponsored award of $1,000 and meeting registration reimbursement will be given to a candidate or active NANOS member and is designed to encourage basic or clinical research in Neuro-Ophthalmology. The Awards Subcommittee of the Research Committee will consider scientific originality, academic merit, and relevance as criteria when reviewing the total body of work of an investigator. In addition, the quality of a representative new research manuscript will also be evaluated as part of the review process. Please note that an abstract must be submitted via the online submission site.
