The September issue of EyeNet, the AAO's monthly news magazine, featured this article: Neuro: How To Minimize Diagnostic Errors (© American Academy of Ophthalmology. Courtesy of EyeNet Magazine). NANOS member login is required to read the cover story.

We also encourage you to check out the opinion piece by Dr. Ruth D. Williams where she addresses the "obvious indispensability of neuro-ophthalmologists". Neuro-ophthalmologists are "the ocular internists, neuro-imaging experts, eye movement gurus, and all-around eye brainiacs. Neuro-ophthalmologists are invaluable, but we don’t have enough of them... If residents can overcome three misconceptions, neuro could become the new "hot" subspecialty in ophthalmology."
