MEETING FORMAT & KEY DATES +
What is the format of the NANOS 2026 Annual Meeting?

The in-person NANOS 52nd Annual Meeting will be held March 20–24, 2026 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, MA.

On-demand viewing will be available after the live event. 

Is there a virtual component to the meeting?
Yes. On-demand content will be available for CME credit from April 20, 2026 – December 31, 2026.
What are the key program dates?
  • On-site registration opens: Friday evening, March 20, 2026
  • Programming (Walsh) starts: Saturday morning, March 21, 2026
  • Programming ends: Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2026
What is the cancellation policy?
Since the CME content will be available on-demand, NANOS does not issue refunds for canceled registrations. However, if you are unable to attend in person, we can switch your registration to on-demand and refund the difference in cost (if applicable).
Who attends the NANOS Annual Meeting?
Nearly 1,000 attendees including physicians, fellows, residents, and researchers in neuro-ophthalmology, neurology, and ophthalmology. Allied health professionals are also well represented.

How do I know which registration type to select?

Please refer to the Pricing Guide to confirm your member type and registration fee.

Will there be organized tours during the meeting?
No. NANOS will not host official tours. For local experiences, visit the Boston Marriott Concierge Desk for recommendations and inspiration.
What is the NANOS guest and children policy?
As a reminder, meals provided by NANOS are for NANOS registered attendees only. NANOS is a non-profit organization and meeting registration fees are not designed to subsidize guest meals. Additionally, we want to avoid running out of food for registered meeting attendees due to unplanned guests. Click here to view the full NANOS Guest & Children policy.
How do I switch my registration from in-person to on-demand?
Please email meetings@nanosweb.org and include the following:
  • Your full name
  • The email address used for registration
  • Request to change your registration from in-person to on-demand
If applicable, we will process a refund for the difference in cost back to the original form of payment.
ABSTRACTS & POSTERS +
What poster format is required?
There will be no e-posters at the NANOS 2026 Annual Meeting. All accepted posters must be printed and presented onsite.
When do I present my poster?

Meet the Poster Author: Descriptive Studies — Saturday, March 21, 2026

  • 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Session I — Authors stand by odd-numbered posters
  • 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Session II — Authors stand by even-numbered posters

Analytical Studies Poster Reception — Sunday, March 22, 2026

  • 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Session I — Authors stand by odd-numbered posters
  • 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Session II — Authors stand by even-numbered posters

What are the poster size requirements?
Printed posters should not exceed 40” x 40” (100 cm x 100 cm). Within these dimensions, posters may be horizontal or vertical, as long as they fit within the size limit.
Where do I print my poster?

Option 1: Print ahead of time (recommended)
Presenters are responsible for printing their poster and bringing it to the meeting.

Option 2: Print onsite at the hotel
The Boston Marriott Copley Place has a FedEx Office located on the 2nd floor. If you’d like to print onsite, please contact FedEx Office directly in advance. All printing costs are the responsibility of the presenter.

EXHIBITORS & SPONSORS +
What does my booth include, and what size is it?
Each exhibit space is 8' x 8' and includes:
  • One 6' x 30" table
  • Two chairs
  • One trash can
  • Two exhibit badges (exhibit-area access only)
When can I set up and when do I have to break down?

Set-Up

  • Friday, March 20, 2026: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 21, 2026: 6:00 am – 9:00 am

Breakdown / Load-Out

  • Monday, March 23, 2026: 7:30 pm – midnight
All exhibit materials must be removed by the posted deadline. 
What are the Exhibit Hall hours?

Saturday, March 21, 2026: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Sunday, March 22, 2026:

  • 6:30 am – 7:30 am (poster session)
  • 10:15 am – 4:00 pm
  • 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (poster session)

Monday, March 23, 2026:

  • 7:00 am – 8:00 am (poster session)
  • 9:30 am – 4:00 pm
Can I bring a backdrop or signage, and can I print onsite?
You may use table signs, pop-up banners, and freestanding signage as long as everything fits within your assigned 8' x 8' space. Signage may not be affixed to hotel walls, tables, or other surfaces.

How do I order power, internet, or A/V for my space?

How do exhibitor registrations work (badge-only vs full registration)?

Exhibitor Badge Only (additional to the two badges included with each exhibit space):

Access to the exhibitor area during exhibit hours and for setup/teardown. Does not include CME sessions, meals, or social events. $300

Exhibitor/Sponsor Full Meeting Registration:

Includes access to scientific sessions, meals, social events, and on-demand content through December 31, 2026. $1450. For assistance, contact Cheryl Bird at partnerships@nanosweb.org
What do I need to submit ahead of time (forms, shipping, lead retrieval)?

Required forms: Exhibitor Rules & Regulations Consent Form and Exhibitor Information Survey (complete by the stated deadline). 

Shipping: You may ship materials directly to the venue. Follow the shipping instructions and labeling requirements listed in the Exhibitor/Sponsor Kit page. 

Lead retrieval: Available for NANOS 2026. Order via the lead retrieval link in the kit. Questions: Joel Schleisman at joels@tsleads.net
