WIN BOOK CLUB
The December Book Club was held December 11, 2022, where the club reviewed Breaking Through Bias: Communication Techniques for Women to Succeed at Work, by Andrea Kramer and Alton Harris. A brief overview of the book discussion with key points is featured here.

All books selected for the WIN Leadership Book Club tend to focus on how to improve leadership presence in the workplace, strengthen diplomatic skills, improve negotiations, foster mentorship, and improve relationships. NANOS PILOT RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAM
NANOS recognizes the need to stimulate investigator-initiated research programs in Neuro-Ophthalmology. The NANOS Pilot Research Grant Program provides a one-year, non-renewable source of funding to help principal investigators generate preliminary data that will lead to additional funding from other national agencies or foundations. Submission deadline is February 13th, 2023.
DR. IVY DREIZIN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT GRANT
NANOS recognizes the need to stimulate leadership development in diverse members of its community. The Dr. Ivy Dreizin Leadership Development Grant (previously named the NANOS WIN Leadership Grant) provides a one-time, non-renewable source of funding to support leadership development for a NANOS member. Submission deadline is February 20, 2023.

FREE ONLINE CME ACTIVITY ON TED
Coming to your city - Thyroid Eye Disease Forum is a 3-city CME meeting series which aims to provide health care professionals with guidance on the appropriate management of patients with TED. The sessions will incorporate didactic presentations, clinical cases, as well as question & answer sessions to drill down deeper into the diagnosis and treatment of TED. Click here to get started.
