Neuro-Ophthalmology Sub-Specialist

Dalhousie University and the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) are seeking a qualified full-time ophthalmologist with sub-specialty training in Neuro-Ophthalmology to practice in a challenging and rewarding academic medical environment. Candidates for this position should have an MD and have completed a residency in ophthalmology and a minimum of 12-24 months of post-residency fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology, including active exposure and participation in clinical research. Candidates will possess excellent clinical and surgical skills and demonstrate an ongoing interest in clinical and/or basic science research and teaching. Candidates should be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and be eligible for a license in the province of Nova Scotia and for attending privileges at NSHA. The successful candidate will join the hospital-based group of sub-specialized ophthalmologists located at the QEII Hospital.  The candidate will be offered a Continuing Appointment with Dalhousie University.
