The NANOS International Relations Committee (IRC) Awards supports neuro-ophthalmologist practicing in low- to middle-income countries by providing meaningful access to NANOS membership, education, and community.
Each year, up to four clinicians are selected to receive an offering a valuable opportunity to deepen expertise, strengthen teaching and training efforts, and connect with colleagues across the world. They will receive:
This award is designed for neurologists and ophthalmologists who have completed specialty training, actively practice clinical neuro-ophthalmology, and are committed to advancing the field within their local and regional communities. Through this program, NANOS aims to broaden global engagement and support clinicians who are shaping neuro-ophthalmology in resource-limited settings.

Applications will be evaluated through a holistic review process conducted by members of NANOS International Relations Committee. Selection will be based on the overall strength of the application and alignment with the program's objectives.
Successful applicants are not eligible to reapply in subsequent years.
NANOS reserves the right to withdraw the award at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control.
