NEURO OPHTHALMOLOGY FACULTY POSITION

The Duke Eye Center in Durham, NC is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time specialist in neuro-ophthalmology to join its expanding practice.  Candidates may have received primary training in either ophthalmology or neurology, and be board eligible or certified in their field. Fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology is expected, and post-fellowship work experience is strongly preferred.

This position requires both excellent clinical skills and a dedication to academic ophthalmology. The faculty member will be expected to engage in both teaching and clinical research activities.  Post-fellowship work experience is strongly preferred.  Faculty rank will be determined by experience and credentials.  Interested candidates should send a cover letter and CV to Mike Flintosh at mike.flintosh@duke.edu.

Congrats to Drs. Deborah I Friedman, Peter A Quiros, Luis J Mejico, Prem Subramanian, Michael Wall and the NORDIC IIHTT Study Group, whose article titled Headache in Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension: Findings From the Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Treatment Trial  was selected for the Members’ Choice Award for the Best Headache Article.

NANOS members have successfully presented a poster on Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowships and Careers at the AAN Faculty and Trainee Reception at the AAN 2018 Annual Meeting.
