Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island seeks Neuro-Ophthalmologist.  Highly respected and well-established multi-specialty practice seeks physician who is dedicated to the clinical management of patients with neurological diseases affecting vision. The ideal candidate will have completed a residency program in neurology or ophthalmology as well as a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship program. Clinical care will be focused on optic neuritis, neuromyelitis optic, ischemic optic neuropathy, temporal arteritis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, diplopia, cortical vision loss, and nystagmus and pupillary abnormalities. Physician must work in collaborative nature with OCLI physicians and referring providers. Must be BC/BE.

With 14 locations, the practice is a renowned, multi-specialty eye care group that offers a broad range of eye care services. Each physician at OCLI is board-certified with extensive medical training. Our surgeons are recognized for innovative medical achievements. OCLI has been serving Long Island since 1999 and currently consists of 32 MD’s, 4 OD’s, 3 P.A.s and nearly 400 employees. OCLI surgeons utilize Island Eye Surgicenter, which provides state of the art ophthalmic-only outpatient services to more than 40 eye surgeons including retina, with six operating rooms and two Femto rooms.

This position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary and incentive opportunities, job flexibility, and employee benefits which include: fully paid malpractice coverage, fully paid family health and dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, a relocation allowance and reimbursement for professional expenses. Many associates have gone on to become partners in OCLI.
