Purpose

The purpose of the Preferred Practice Patterns Committee is to contribute topics on Preferred Practice Patterns (AAO Compendium of Evidence-based Eye Care; AAN Practice Guidelines as appropriate).

Committee Tasks

• Select 3-5 Preferred Practice Patterns
• Interface with AAO on Pay for Performance
• Interface with NONO on Practice Guidelines and keep NANOS informed

Relevant NANOS Strategic Plan Goal(s)

• NANOS will strive to assist its members in the process of continuous improvement of neuro-ophthalmic patient care.
• NANOS shall develop preferred practice patterns
