NANOS 2005
CALL FOR NANOS ABSTRACTS
Final submission deadline is October 15th, 2004

The North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS)
is pleased to offer online abstract submission for the 31st Annual
North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society Meeting
February 12-17, 2005 Copper Mountain Resort, Copper Mountain, CO

The North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society welcomes submissions of scientific abstracts for its Annual Meeting. This abstract submission package is for the NANOS Poster and Platform sessions. NANOS also has a program called the Frank B. Walsh Session that has a separate abstract submission process. For more information on the Walsh Session or the NANOS Abstract process, click here and select Walsh Abstracts.

There are two steps to submit an abstract.
BOTH steps must be completed for an abstract to be successfully submitted:

STEP 1: Enter all the requested information on the electronic abstract form then,
STEP 2: Print out the Abstract Author's Acknowledgment-Concurrence and Disclosure Statement and FAX or mail the signed form to the NANOS Executive Office.

FORMAT AND CONTENT

MAXIMUM ABSTRACT LENGTH IS 300 WORDS, SINGLE-SPACED. When filling out the abstract form, organize your text into the following five categories and include 3 – 5 key references: OBJECTIVE, BACKGROUND, DESIGN/METHODS, RESULTS, CONCLUSION. Abstracts not in this format may not be considered. Please do not include identifying information (e.g. author or patient initials or name of institution) in the body of the abstract. Be sure to include the references at the end of your abstract.

Please indicate on the Abstract Cover Form whether you prefer a Platform Presentation, a Poster Presentation or have no preference. To be considered for a Platform Presentation, you must indicate Platform on your cover form. You will be notified of acceptance by the end of November. A preference for a Platform does not guarantee that assignment, but ensures consideration. PLATFORM PRESENTATION TIME - 10 MINUTES, DISCUSSION TIME - 5 MINUTES.

The submitted work should not have been published or be “in press” at the time of abstract submission.

Student/Resident/Fellow Abstract Award Program
More information about this program is available here>. Be sure to check off the appropriate box on the Abstract Cover Form if you believe you are eligible.
