The University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary brings an innovative approach to continuing medical education by combining neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics experts for a joint meeting that explores the intersections between these subspecialties.  The program includes a novel combined session, in which experts in neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics share medical and surgical strategies for treating a variety of orbital diseases and disorders and sessions devoted to each subspecialty. 

Breaks and a reception with case presentations are scheduled to encourage interactions between practitioners from both subspecialties.

This is a two-day joint venture by our Neuro-ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery Services on May 16 and 17, to be held at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
