The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking an academic neuro-ophthalmologist to serve as Chief of the Division of Neuro-ophthalmology and join one full time and two part time faculty members.
The full-time, tenure track position will involve outpatient and inpatient clinical practice, resident and fellow education, and academic pursuits including clinical and/or basic research. There are opportunities for substantial research support and time, as well as a joint appointment in the Department of Neurology. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
The Division of Neuro-ophthalmology is a part of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, which is a comprehensive department characterized by breadth and depth of clinical and research expertise and productivity.
Requirements include board eligibility or certification in neurology or ophthalmology, post-graduate fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois.
